Buffalo Class – Ages 4 to 5

Our Buffalo Class at Noddy Nursery School Alberton is designed for children aged 4–5, providing a rich and engaging environment where they can develop cognitive, social-emotional, physical, creative, and language skills. Activities are carefully planned to prepare children for formal learning while fostering independence, confidence, and curiosity.

Cognitive Development:
Children practice recognizing and naming colors, shapes, letters, and numbers, particularly those in their own names. They engage in puzzles, problem-solving activities, and games that encourage logical thinking, memory, and following instructions. These activities support early literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.

Social & Emotional Development:
Buffalo Class children learn to share, cooperate, and work together with peers. They follow directions, express feelings and emotions appropriately, and develop confidence in social interactions. Building friendships, taking turns, and participating in group activities are key aspects of their social growth.

Physical Development:
Children develop gross motor skills through hopping, skipping, running, and throwing and catching balls. Fine motor skills are strengthened by holding crayons correctly, using scissors, and practicing self-care tasks such as buttoning and unbuttoning clothes. These activities support overall physical coordination and control.

Creative Development:
Children explore their imagination and creativity through drawing, painting, playdough, role-playing, and imaginative play. Creative activities allow children to express themselves, develop problem-solving skills, and enjoy hands-on learning experiences.

Language Development:
